Roseworthy Icon
Recipient
Bruce Eastick
Of all the people associated with Roseworthy Agricultural College and Campus over its 133 year history, no-one made a greater contribution than Hon Dr Bruce Eastick AM. Without reward or kudos, he embraced the spirit of Roseworthy over a period spanning in excess of 74 years.
His relationship with Roseworthy was cemented as being lifelong, demonstrated by the extremely high level of voluntary time and resources inputted over the years. Without Bruce’s leadership, Roseworthy Campus and its surrounding farm would not have survived, with the land potentially being sold and teaching facilities transitioned away from rural endeavour.
Bruce Eastick’s naming as an “Icon of Roseworthy” is a status no other person could lay claim to.
